Working with you to Achieve Independence

Our Caregivers:

Our Caregivers have been specifically chosen because of their caring and compassionate personalities. It is very important to us that our caregivers not only have the skills necessary to be a good caregiver, but can also nurture a person's mind, body and spirit.

We offer three different types of caregivers. Each client will most likely have a combination of these caregivers throughout their time with us, depending on their needs.

Homemakers are available for clients who are independent enough to do their own personal care, but still want or need assistance with household tasks, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, or just want another person there for peace of mind.

Home Health Aides are certified nursing assistants who have been specially trained for hands-on care. They are available for those who need assistance with personal care along with medication reminders, assistance with household tasks, meal preparation, transportation and companionship.

Registered Nurses are available for clients who need a skilled service that has been ordered by a physician.

Below are some examples of services we can provide for our clients. This is not an all-inclusive list; duties can be expanded to include the individual needs of each client.

Homemaker Services:

- Light Housekeeping - A clean home is good for the mind and body - we'd be happy to sweep floors, vacuum, wash dishes, tidy up, make beds, laundry, etc.

- Meal Preparation - Eating nutritious meals is so important for your health - we can prepare meals for you, keeping within your nutritional restrictions.  We can even prepare meals for future use if you’d like.

- Companionship - We offer good conversation, emotional support, reminiscing about the past, and friendship.

- Transportation - We can take you to and from medical appointments, the grocery store, or anywhere else you want to be. If you don’t have a car of your own, we can use ours.

- Accompany you to worship services, family gatherings, doctor's appts, etc.

- Personal Shopping/Errands - We can buy your groceries, pick up prescriptions, and run general errands for you. You can be assured we will only buy the items on your list and all money will be documented and accounted for.

- Mind Stimulating Exercises – Studies show that doing mind stimulating exercises, such as crossword puzzles and looking through photographs can improve memory and generate a sharper recall.

- New Mom Services - Let mom make the most of her time with baby - we can do diaper changes, laundry, give baby feedings, baths, and prepare meals for the whole family.

- Pet Care - Sometimes caring for a beloved pet can become difficult. Let us  take your pets for walks, feed them and let them out when necessary.

Home Health Aide Services:

- Grooming - Assistance with combing/brushing hair, teeth or denture care, shaving, nail care, etc.

- Bathing  - This can include different levels of assistance, ranging from standing-by, partial bath, full bath, bed bath, or shower assistance.

- Dressing - Our Aides can help in the selection of clothes, and offer assistance with dressing, including socks and shoes.

-  Transfers - Getting in and out of chairs or bed can be difficult for those with physical limitations. Our Aides are specially trained in transferring, whether they are needed to simply stand by, prompt, full transfer assist to a walker or wheelchair, or use a mechanical lift.

- Assistance with Exercise Programs - Many times a physician recommends their patients try to stay physically active. We can help by going for walks, doing chair exercises, or a prescribed exercise routine.

- Medication Reminders - Although our Aides can not administer medications, they will remind you when it is time to take your medications.

- Homemaker Duties - Our Aides can also do any of the tasks listed in the Homemaker section.
