All of our caregivers will receive a background check, the Home Health Aides’ license will be verified for currency, and all of our caregivers will be given comprehensive training before seeing any of our clients.

Homemakers

Homemakers are caregivers who normally do not have any formal caregiving training. Once hired, caregivers will be given the necessary training before seeing any of our clients. They do not do any “hands-on” care for our clients. Some homemaker duties will include offering companionship, running errands for clients, accompanying clients to appointments or outings, light housekeeping, pet care and offering transportation. People applying for a homemaker position should be competent, reliable, trustworthy, compassionate and trustworthy.

Home Health Aides

Home Health Aides must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree. All hired Aides will be asked to complete and pass a comprehensive Home Health Aide Skills Assessment, which will measure the Aide’s knowledge about communication skills, risk assessment, and clinical and technical management of the client and personal care. Some Home Health Aide duties will include assisting clients with ADL’s, such as transferring, bathing and grooming. Aides will be under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. People applying for an Aide position should be competent, reliable, trustworthy and compassionate.
